Call for Proposals

PRIME-XS provides funded transnational access to the proteomics infrastructures of the participating access sites. European researchers can request access to proteomics techniques at the six access facilities of PRIME-XS via an online application. Researchers can choose a preferential access facility where the project should be carried out and propose the proteomics technology they would like to use.

Proposals for projects using proteomics technology offered at one of the participating access sites can be submitted by PRIME-XS users via an electronic submission system. All proposals will be peer reviewed and will be judged on their scientific and technical merit. Costs for those proposals that are selected for execution will be funded by the PRIME-XS project. Only transnational projects (the user cannot be in the same country as the selected Access Site) are eligible for funding.

The call for proposals is open to all scientists in EU Member States and Associated Countries.

We are accepting projects on any scientific subject, but different access sites will host projects with different requirements. Currently, the six access sites are accepting especially proposals in the following areas:

NPC (NL) : Differential quantitative proteomics of complex proteomes
VIB (BE) : Differential quantitative proteomics and protein modifications
FGCZ (CH) : Differential quantitative proteomics of complex proteomes and targeted quantitative proteomics
CRG (ES) : All projects
UCAM (UK) : All projects
CEA (FR) : All projects

Information on how to apply and submit a project proposal can be found in the 5-step guide to project submission.
